United Baptist Church located in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a part-time choir director for our
traditional, Sunday morning worship services, Wednesday evening choir practices and special services
throughout the year.
The position will require a commitment of approximately 2-3 hours per week. The position is
responsible for selecting hymns, anthems, cantatas and special music. He or she would be expected to
select appropriate music for our Sunday services to coordinate with the pastor messages. The applicant
would work closely with the pastor to implement this process. The applicant must be proficient in
reading music and have experience in leading both congregation and choir. Compensation will be based
on education and experience.
